Troubleshooting: How To Remove From Tripod

I wanted to do a quick walk review video about my Panasonic HC-X1 Tripod Rig, when I realized that I didn't even know how to take mine apart. In this video I go over how to remove the Manfrotto Fluid Head 502AH from your tripod (in my case the Manfrotto 190 Go!).

The video talks about installing and removing, but the key section is on removal. Watch the video for a demonstration, but if you want, here are the steps.

1. Flip Tripod Upside Down (Make sure pan & tilt are locked first)
2. Move the legs up the Center Column to reveal the screw on the bottom of the tripod.
3. Unscrew, but you don't have to remove it completely

4. Flip the tripod back right side up
5. Hold the center column with 1 hand, and press on the tripod head (or arm) to the right (which actually turns it left to unscrew). When you do this the tripod head should pop out of the grooves.
6. Unscrew the tripod head completely

Now your tripod head should be free of the tripod. If this video was helpful leave a comment, subscribe to the YouTube channel, and come back again! Thanks!
